– examination of all part of eyes (the iris, lens, retina, optic disc 視神経乳頭=視神経が集まるところ)
【procedure of examination of retina】
- Put couple of topical mydratic solution ミィドリィアティック
- To keep pupil dilated
- The examination is done with dimmed lights (semidark)
- To allow the pupil to maximally dilate ダイアレイト and widen
- Ask patients to fixate on a target (forcus and stay)

- help the blood to clot – in order to prevent swelling and hematoma (bruise)
